VISION

Our vision is to provide affordable homecare for those in the community who wish to remain in their own home, living independently for as long as possible by providing a more cost effective alternative to existing community services while promoting opportunities for better employment conditions for community care workers.

AIM

To fill the gap in community care delivery by providing an alternative private service for those people who require assistance with their adequate daily living skills, enabling them to stay in their own homes for as long as possible and delaying the need for facility based care.

OBJECTIVES

  • To provide a mechanism where consumers of care can access community care workers more easily.
  • To mobilise a work force of community care workers who are independent contractors for the promotion of more competitive hourly rates for the consumer.
  • To provide this service for the GAP period between discharge from hospital and when government sponsored community care can begin
  • To coordinate care workers while providing support, direction and advice to help them achieve these objectives.
