Recommended pricing schedule in $AUD 

Weekdays 0600 - 1800  $19.00 - $ 25.00 per hour

Weekdays after 1800 - 0600  $ 24.00 per hour

Saturday  $ 25.00 per hour

Sunday   $ 30.00 per hour

Public holidays  $ 35.00 per hour

Sleepover weekdays  $ 75.00

Sleepover weekend  $ 100.00

Sleepover Public Holidays  $ 120.00

24 hour respite Weekdays  $ 200.00

24 hour respite Weekends  $ 225.00

All rates should be inclusive of GST and subject to negotiation between the contractor and the consumer.

A kilometre rate should be negotiated at approximately $0. 60cents per kilometre, applicable for transport to appointments and shopping services.

It is advised that the care worker negotiate all pricing with the person requiring care before that care is delivered. When an agreement has been reached it is recommended that a signed contract be generated for the benefit of both parties.
